I, personally, am not a drinker and I happen to loathe vodka so I loved finding this article on some OTHER uses for Vodka. I am one of those people who happens to be very allergic to poison ivy as well so it looks like I’ll have to start carrying a small bottle of vodka around… just in case!

I found this article on Dr. Bronner’s natural soap products on the Fabulous After 40 blog (www.cafeglam.com). Included in the article is a video which shows you how to tell if the soap you are using is “real soap” or “fake soap”, which means soap full of petroleum products and not organic at all.

Yahoo has begun a “Green” section and I found a pretty cool quiz in which you can (loosely) figure out how your lifestyle effects our climate.
Try it… The results page offers a few nice “going green” suggestions:

Wow. Our “local” newspaper has finally jumped on the “Green” bandwagon with a new section called “Green Living”. Here’s the link. Let’s see how they do!

Well here we are, my first post and I can NOT believe its going to be about “Green Cleaning”. Don’t get me wrong, I am 100% all for Green Cleaning. Its just that the people who know me will testify to the fact I AM NO CLEANER. Cleaning and I have had a life-long rift going much like the Hatfield and McCoy’s. We just simply don’t get along. I do not enjoy cleaning. I am not an efficient cleaner. I have hired cleaning people most of my life because long ago, I accepted the fact that I am a bad cleaner.
There are plenty of things I’m quite good at. Cleaning just ain’t one of ‘em.
And there ya have it. So for all you folks who *do* clean and who may even take pride in your cleaning skills (maaaan, I wish *I* possessed a cleaning skill or two) I give you a nice article on truly green cleaning, courtesy of www.Boston.com
ENJOY!
